Sighing of boredom, I reached for my water bottle and drank from it. My eyes expanded and I nearly choked on my drink when i spotted a familiar face across the room.
"Austin?" I figured I had spoken a little to loudly, because his eyes were now making contact with mine. The largest smile spread across his lips as he had noticed I was a familiar face. My heart raced and I quickly stumbled to my feet as he came sprinting over to me. His strong arms had now lifted me off the ground and our bodies where glued to each other like magnets.
"Marilyn, you disappeared yesterday. I walked around searching for you, I thought I’d never see you again." His voice drowned in my ears as he pulled out my earphones and set me back on solid ground. I was speechless as my eyes glued to his face in awe.
"I went home early with my friend-d, Sorry.." I stuttered and awkwardly coughed since i had not noticed I was staring at him. He chuckled and questioned me, "Where are you heading?"
"Back home in San Francisco.." I frowned at the thought of never seeing him again.
